The Galaxy S7 edge has an overall score of 78.1, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy A01's global score of 71.6. The Galaxy S7 edge is an a lot older and a little bit heavier phone than the Samsung Galaxy A01, but Samsung was able to make it a little bit thinner anyway. Both phones in this comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S7 edge has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy A01 has Android 11 version, so it counts with a couple additional features and performance optimizations.
The Galaxy S7 edge counts with a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A01, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better pixel density and a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2560px. The Galaxy S7 edge and Samsung Galaxy A01 have extremely similar processors, because although the Galaxy S7 edge has a lower number of cores (although faster), it also counts with more RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy S7 edge takes slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy A01, because although it has a lesser MP resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a way bigger aperture to capture better low-light captures and video, a much higher 3840x2160 video quality and a bigger camera sensor which gives a better image and video quality.
Galaxy S7 edge features a bit bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A01, because although it has a SD card slot that holds 312 GB smaller, it also counts with 16 GB more internal storage. Galaxy S7 edge features better battery lifetime than Galaxy A01, because it has a 3600mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy S7 edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy A01, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy A01. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Samsung Galaxy A01, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
