Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is a little bit better than the Galaxy A12, with a general score of 84.2 against 80.3. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is a just a little heavier cellphone than the Galaxy A12, but both of them are 0.35inches thick. Both phones in this review come with Android OS, but Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has newer 14 version while Galaxy A12 has Android 10 version, giving you a lot of extra features and better performance.
The Galaxy A12 features a very superior hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a lot better display than Samsung Galaxy A12, because it has a higher screen density, a little bit larger screen and a much higher 1080 x 2400 resolution.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much bigger memory for apps and games than Galaxy A12, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a little longer battery life than Galaxy A12, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity against 5000mAh.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy A12, because it has a bigger aperture to take better images and video in poorly lited situations, a way higher video quality and a more mega-pixels back camera.
