Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a little bit better than the Galaxy A21s, with a global score of 78.7 against 77.7. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro body is somewhat thinner and lighter than Galaxy A21s, although it was released many years before. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and Galaxy A21s has Android 10.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a way better looking screen than Galaxy A21s, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a much greater pixel number per inch in the screen. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with just a bit bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy A21s, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy A21s, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has more RAM. The Galaxy A21s has superior battery performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
Galaxy A21s has a much better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Galaxy A21s also has a way bigger sensor which gives a lot higher image and video quality, a larger diafragm aperture to take better captures in low-light environments and a much higher 48 MP resolution camera.
