The Xperia XA2 Plus has a general score of 78.6, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy A23 5G's 71.9 global score. Although it's the best in our current comparison, Xperia XA2 Plus's construction is extremely older, a bit heavier and somewhat thicker than the Galaxy A23 5G. Both devices in this review work with Android OS, but Xperia XA2 Plus has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Galaxy A23 5G has Android 12, so it gives you a lot of extra features.
The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a much better display than Galaxy A23 5G, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a bit lower 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution, it also counts with a quite higher screen density. Sony Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a superior storage for games and applications than Galaxy A23 5G, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB.
The Xperia XA2 Plus has a very superior CPU than Galaxy A23 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia XA2 Plus also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Xperia XA2 Plus captures much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A23 5G, because although it has a back-facing camera with a lot lower 23 megapixels resolution and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for low light images and videos, it also counts with a lot bigger back camera sensor which gives a lot higher photo and video quality.
Galaxy A23 5G features a very superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
