The Samsung Galaxy A31 has a global score of 81.3, which is just a bit better than the Moto Z2 Play's general score of 77.4. Although Samsung Galaxy A31 is notably newer than the Moto Z2 Play, it is extremely thicker and incredibly heavier. Galaxy A31 has a little sharper screen than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a bigger display, a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a little higher display pixel density.
The Moto Z2 Play counts with a much bigger memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy A31, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Moto Z2 Play also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Galaxy A31 shoots better videos and photos than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy A31 also counts with a way better 48 MP resolution back-facing camera.
