Comparison review
Galaxy M51 has an overall score of 87.7, which is a bit better than Galaxy A31's overall score of 81.3. Both phones we compare here work with the same Android 10 operating system, so you shouldn't see any difference regarding that. Although it's the best device in this review, Galaxy M51's design is heavier and a little bit thicker than the Galaxy A31.
The Samsung Galaxy A31 counts with a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy M51, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little higher pixels count per screen inch and a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy M51 features just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A31, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy M51 also has more RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy M51 counts with a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A31, because it has a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a much more MP back-facing camera, a much higher (4K) video resolution and a bigger aperture to take better low light captures and videos. Galaxy M51 has a much greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy A31, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB, the Galaxy M51 also has 64 GB more internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy M51 counts with a superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A31, because it has a 40 percent more battery size.
