The Samsung Galaxy A31 has an overall score of 81.3, which is just a bit better than Galaxy XCover 5's 78.1 general score. Both of these devices use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy A31 has the older 10 version and Galaxy XCover 5 has Android 11. Despite of the fact the Samsung Galaxy A31 is older and a bit heavier than Galaxy XCover 5, it's body is still just a bit thinner.
The Galaxy XCover 5's processing unit is just as good as the processor in Galaxy A31, both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Samsung Galaxy A31 has just a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a way better 1080 x 2400 resolution, a better pixel amount per inch in the screen and a larger display.
The Galaxy XCover 5 features a better storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy A31, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has an external memory slot that supports up to 1 TB. Galaxy A31 has a better camera than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Galaxy A31 also counts with a lot better 48 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
Galaxy A31 features a really longer battery performance than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
