Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is much better than Samsung Galaxy A31, with a 94.6 score against 81.3. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 body is way heavier but much thinner than the Samsung Galaxy A31, and they were only released 5 months apart. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Z Fold 2 has the newer 11 version and Samsung Galaxy A31 has Android 10 version, providing some nice extra features.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Samsung Galaxy A31 count with very similar screens, because although the Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a little bit worse pixels density, it also counts with a better resolution of 1768 x 2208 pixels and a larger screen. Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a quite bigger storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A31, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has 8 GB more RAM. Galaxy A31 takes clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rates, a tinier sensor taking less light and duller colors and a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Galaxy A31 also counts with a much higher 48 MP resolution back facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A31 has just a little better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because it has an 11% larger battery size.
