The Xperia 1 II is better than the Galaxy A31, with a 91 score against 81.3. Xperia 1 II's design is just a little thinner and just a little bit lighter than Galaxy A31, even though both were released with only a couple months difference. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS, but the Xperia 1 II has newer 11 version while Galaxy A31 has Android 10.

The Xperia 1 II features a more vivid screen than Galaxy A31, because it has a lot better count of pixels per inch of screen, a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840px and a bit bigger screen. Xperia 1 II has a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy A31, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 1000 GB and 192 GB more internal memory capacity.
