Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A31 has an overall score of 81.3, which is just a bit better than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's 79.8 overall score. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy A31 has a newer 10 version while Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1. Although Samsung Galaxy A31 is notably newer than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, it's a little bit thicker and just a little heavier.
The Xperia Z5 Premium has a lot better display than Galaxy A31, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher screen density and a much better 3840 x 2160 resolution. Galaxy A31 has a superior memory for apps and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB and more internal memory.
The Xperia Z5 Premium features a bit better processor than Galaxy A31, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. Galaxy A31 captures clearer photographs and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Galaxy A31 also counts with a back facing camera with a way better 48 megapixels resolution and a larger back-facing camera sensor which offers a higher image and video quality.
Galaxy A31 has a much better battery life than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 46% more battery size.
