Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A31 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, getting a general score of 81.3 against 78.1. Even though the Samsung Galaxy A31 is a lot newer than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, it's just a little heavier and a bit thicker. These phones have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy A31 has the previous 10 version while Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus's processing unit is very similar to the processor in Samsung Galaxy A31, because although the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has an inferior number of cores (but faster), it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy A31, although it has a just a bit worse display pixels density, a bit worse 1080 x 1920 resolution and a little bit smaller display.
Galaxy A31 features a bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory slot that admits up to 512 GB. Galaxy A31 features improved battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy A31 takes much clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have a F2 aperture, the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Galaxy A31 also has a lot larger back-facing camera sensor and a much more MP back-facing camera.
