Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 7 is just a bit better than Galaxy A40, getting an 81.2 score against 79.6. Although the Asus ROG Phone 7 is newer than the Galaxy A40, it's notably thicker and extremely heavier. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but Asus ROG Phone 7 has a more recent 13 version and Galaxy A40 has Android 11 version, giving some extra features.
Galaxy A40 has a little sharper display than Asus ROG Phone 7, although it has a little bit lower pixel number in each inch of screen, a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a quite smaller display. The Asus ROG Phone 7 counts with a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A40, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory.
The Samsung Galaxy A40 features a much better performing CPU than Asus ROG Phone 7, although it has 12 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Asus ROG Phone 7 has a very superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a 94% larger battery capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 7 captures greater photographs and videos than Galaxy A40, because it has a back facing camera with much more mega-pixels, a much bigger back camera sensor capturing lot better quality photos and a way better 7680x4320 video definition.
