Comparison review
The Galaxy A40 is just a bit better than Huawei P Smart (2021), getting a 79.6 score against 79.2. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A40 has newer 11 version and Huawei P Smart (2021) has Android 10, so it provides the user a couple additional features and performance enhancements. Galaxy A40 is an older cellphone than the Huawei P Smart (2021), but Samsung was able to build it noticeably lighter and thinner anyway.
The Galaxy A40 has a bit more vivid screen than Huawei P Smart (2021), because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite greater screen density. The Huawei P Smart (2021) counts with a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A40, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB, the Huawei P Smart (2021) also has 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Huawei P Smart (2021) features a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A40. Both have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core CPU. Huawei P Smart (2021) has a much better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3100mAh.
The Huawei P Smart (2021) has a better camera than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for low-light photography and videos, it also counts with a much larger camera sensor, a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a way higher 48 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
