Comparison review
The LG Velvet has a score of 87.1, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy A40's global score of 79.6. The LG Velvet body has the same thickness than the Galaxy A40, but it's much heavier. The Galaxy A40 counts with a little more vivid display than LG Velvet, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, it also counts with a just a little better quantity of pixels per inch of display.
LG Velvet counts with a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the LG Velvet also has a higher amount of RAM. LG Velvet has a lot bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A40, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal memory capacity.
LG Velvet shoots way better pictures and videos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for low-light captures and videos, it also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor, a camera with much more mega-pixels and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
LG Velvet has a much longer battery performance than Galaxy A40, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity.
