Galaxy A40 is slightly better than Moto G8 Power, having a general score of 79.6 against 76. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy A40 is older than Moto G8 Power, it's construction is noticeably lighter and thinner. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A40 has newer 11 version and Moto G8 Power has Android 10, so it provides you some extra features and optimized performance.

Galaxy A40 counts with a slightly better looking display than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a just a bit more pixels per inch of display. Motorola Moto G8 Power's storage for games and applications is just as good as Samsung Galaxy A40's one, both have an external memory card slot that supports up to 512 GB and exactly the same internal memory.
