The Galaxy A40 is a little bit better than the OnePlus 9, having a 79.6 score against 76. Both of these devices use the same Android 11 OS. The Galaxy A40 design is way lighter and a bit thinner than the OnePlus 9, although it was released 2 years before. OnePlus 9 features a bit better processing power than Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 9 also has more RAM.
OnePlus 9 and Galaxy A40 count with incredibly similar displays, because although the OnePlus 9 has a quite lower screen pixels density, it also counts with a little bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a bit bigger screen. The OnePlus 9 counts with a much longer battery performance than Galaxy A40, because it has a 45% larger battery capacity.
