Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A30s is a bit better than Galaxy A40, having a general score of 79.8 against 79.6. Samsung Galaxy A30s's body is a little thinner but somewhat heavier than the Galaxy A40, and both were released only a couple months apart. These phones come with the same Android 11 OS. The Galaxy A40 features a much better looking display than Galaxy A30s, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much better pixel count per inch of screen and a way better resolution of 1080 x 2340px.
The Samsung Galaxy A30s features a very superior memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have a SD card slot that holds up to 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy A30s also has 64 GB more internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A40 count with quite similar processing units, they have a 4 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core CPU.
The Galaxy A30s has greater battery duration than Galaxy A40, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy A30s captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy A40, and although they both have a same size aperture, the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy A30s also has a much more megapixels camera.
