The Samsung Galaxy A40 has a general score of 79.6, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy J8's 76.7 overall score. Samsung Galaxy A40 is a newer cellphone, and it is also just a bit thinner and extremely lighter than Galaxy J8. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy A40 has a more recent 11 version while Galaxy J8 has Android 10 version, so it gives a couple nice extra features and optimized performance.
