Samsung Galaxy S10 has a general score of 88.3, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy A40's global score of 79.6. Both of these phones use the same Android 11 operating system. Samsung Galaxy S10's construction has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy A40, but it is heavier. The Galaxy S10 has just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy S10 also has 4 GB more RAM.
Galaxy S10 features just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy A40, because it has a better pixels density, a bit larger screen and a better 1440 x 3040 pixels resolution. Galaxy S10 features much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have a SD card slot that admits up to 512 GB, the Galaxy S10 also has 128 GB internal storage.
Galaxy S10 counts with a bit superior battery life than Galaxy A40, because it has a 3400mAh battery size against 3100mAh. Galaxy S10 features a bit better camera than Galaxy A40, because although it has a back camera with a lot lower resolution, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a larger aperture to capture better captures and video in low-light environments and a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality.
