Galaxy S9 has a general score of 83.3, which is slightly better than Galaxy A40's 79.6 score. Despite being the best device in this review, the Galaxy S9 design is older, heavier and a little thicker than Galaxy A40. Galaxy S9 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy A40, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and more pixels per inch in the screen.
The Galaxy A40 has a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S9, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy A40 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 512 GB. The Galaxy S9 features a little better processing power than Galaxy A40. Both of them have 4 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit.
Galaxy A40 counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S9, because it has 3100mAh of battery capacity. Galaxy S9 has a slightly better camera than Galaxy A40, because although it has a camera in the back with lot less mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a much higher video definition, a larger aperture and a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
