Comparison review
Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has a global score of 86.6, which is slightly better than the Galaxy A40's global score of 79.6. Xiaomi Black Shark 3's design is newer, but a lot thicker and a lot heavier than Galaxy A40. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has the previous 10 version while Galaxy A40 has Android 11 version.
Galaxy A40 counts with a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 3, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2340 resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a quite better pixels density. The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 features just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Galaxy A40 features a bigger memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark 3, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 features a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has 4720mAh of battery capacity.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 captures a lot better photographs and videos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a way bigger sensor taking much better quality videos and pictures, a much higher (4K) video quality and a lot better 64 MP resolution camera.
