Comparison review
The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has an overall score of 80.5, which is slightly better than the Galaxy A40's score of 79.6. Even being the best in this comparison review, Xiaomi Note 7 Pro is a just a little thicker and much heavier phone than Galaxy A40. These phones include Android operating system, but Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy A40 has Android 11, so it gives a lot of extra features and better performance.
The Samsung Galaxy A40 has a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A40 also counts with a bit better screen density. Galaxy A40 counts with a bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has a very superior camera than Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for taking photos and videos in low light environments, it also counts with a much bigger sensor shooting lot higher quality photos, a lot better (4K) video definition and a lot higher resolution back facing camera.
The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has superior battery life than Galaxy A40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3100mAh.
