Comparison review
The Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G has an overall score of 80.8, which is slightly better than the Galaxy A40's 79.6 global score. Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G's construction is a lot newer, but noticeably heavier and somewhat thicker than the Galaxy A40. Both of these phones work with the same Android 11 OS (operating system).
The Samsung Galaxy A40 has a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a little smaller display, it also counts with a quite better pixel count per inch in the screen. The Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G features a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy A40. They have a Octa-Core processor and 4 GB of RAM memory.
The Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G counts with a better camera than Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light photos and video, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same video definition, the Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a way higher image and video quality and a much more mega pixels back-facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy A40 has a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A40 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G counts with a much better battery life than Galaxy A40, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
