Comparison review
Galaxy A40 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi 9T, with a score of 79.6 against 78.2. Galaxy A40 is an older phone than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, but Samsung managed to make it thinner and noticeably lighter. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy A40 has 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi 9T has Android 10 version, so it gives some nice extra features and enhanced performance.
The Xiaomi Redmi 9T features a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A40. Both have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM. The Galaxy A40 features a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Galaxy A40 also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the display.
Xiaomi Redmi 9T features a better camera than Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T also counts with a lot more MP back camera and a lot bigger sensor providing a much better image quality.
The Xiaomi Redmi 9T features as much memory capacity for games and applications as the Galaxy A40 one, both have a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB and the same 64 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Redmi 9T counts with a much better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
