Samsung Galaxy A42 has a global score of 87, which is a little bit better than Asus ZenFone 7's 83.9 global score. These devices work with the same Android 11 OS, so they should count with very similar OS features. The Samsung Galaxy A42 design is thinner and somewhat lighter than the Asus ZenFone 7, even when they were released with only 2 months difference.
Asus ZenFone 7 features a bit better processor than Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Asus ZenFone 7 also has a greater amount of RAM.
