Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A42 is a bit better than Google Pixel 2, getting an 87 score against 81.6. The Samsung Galaxy A42 construction is extremely newer than the Google Pixel 2's, but it is notably heavier and just a bit thicker. The Google Pixel 2 has a brighter display than Galaxy A42, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with way more pixels per inch in the screen and a higher 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution.
Galaxy A42 counts with a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy A42 also has a SD card slot that admits up to 1000 GB. Google Pixel 2 features a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A42. Both have the same RAM amount and 8 CPU cores.
The Galaxy A42 captures much clearer videos and photos than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same (4K) video definition and a same size diafragm aperture, the Galaxy A42 also has a back-facing camera with way more megapixels.
