Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 has a general score of 87, which is much better than Huawei Mate 10's 78.9 global score. The Galaxy A42 body is much newer than Huawei Mate 10's, but it is a little bit thicker and just a little heavier. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A42 has the newer 11 version while Huawei Mate 10 has Android 10 version.
The Huawei Mate 10 features a way better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot more pixels per inch of screen and a much better 1440 x 2560px resolution. Galaxy A42 counts with a very superior memory for games and applications than Huawei Mate 10, because it has an external SD slot that allows up to 1000 GB and more internal memory capacity.
Huawei Mate 10 features a little faster processing unit than Galaxy A42. Both of them have 4 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core CPU. The Samsung Galaxy A42 shoots much better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for taking photographs or videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also counts with a back-facing camera with much more megapixels.
The Galaxy A42 has improved battery performance than Huawei Mate 10, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
