Galaxy A42 has a general score of 87, which is much better than the Huawei Mate 20 lite's 76.2 general score. The Galaxy A42 construction is much newer than the Huawei Mate 20 lite's, but it is somewhat thicker and heavier. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A42 has the previous 11 version while Huawei Mate 20 lite has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
Huawei Mate 20 lite has a sharper display than Galaxy A42, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with way more pixels per inch in the screen and a lot higher 1080 x 2340px resolution. The Huawei Mate 20 lite's processing unit is very similar to the processor in Samsung Galaxy A42, both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount.
