Comparison review
Galaxy A42 is much better than the Huawei P20 Lite (2019), getting an 87 score against 76.5. Although Galaxy A42 is newer than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), it's a little heavier and a little thicker. Both phones in our current comparison have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A42 has 11 version and Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has a better looking screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen and a much higher 1080 x 2310px resolution. The Galaxy A42 features a better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A42 also has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Huawei P20 Lite (2019)'s processing unit is very similar to the CPU in Samsung Galaxy A42, both have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores. The Galaxy A42 features a way better camera than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Galaxy A42 also has a camera with way more mega pixels and a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 has greater battery life than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
