Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A42 is better than Huawei P30 Lite, having a general score of 87 against 77. The Samsung Galaxy A42 design is newer than Huawei P30 Lite's, but it is heavier and thicker. Both phones in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy A42 has the older 11 version while Huawei P30 Lite has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Huawei P30 Lite has a sharper screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much better pixels quantity per inch in the display and a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2312px. Galaxy A42 counts with a slightly bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P30 Lite, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Galaxy A42 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1000 GB.
Huawei P30 Lite has a processing unit that is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy A42 one, both of them have 8 processing cores and 4 GB of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy A42 counts with a much longer battery life than Huawei P30 Lite, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity. The Galaxy A42 shoots greater pictures and videos than Huawei P30 Lite, and although they both have a same size aperture, the Galaxy A42 also has a way better video definition and a much higher 48 MP resolution camera.
