Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 is just a bit better than Huawei P40 Lite, getting an 87 score against 79.5. Galaxy A42's design has the same thickness than the Huawei P40 Lite, but it is just a little bit heavier. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A42 has the newer 11 version and Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10 version.
The Huawei P40 Lite features a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 1080 x 2310 resolution and more pixels per display inch. The Galaxy A42 counts with a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Galaxy A42 also has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Huawei P40 Lite features a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Galaxy A42 has greater battery performance than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.
The Galaxy A42 has a little bit better camera than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have the same camera aperture and a back facing camera with a 48 megapixels, the Galaxy A42 also has a way better video definition.
