Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A42 is slightly better than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, with an 87 score against 85.3. Samsung Galaxy A42 is an older and extremely thicker cellphone than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, but Samsung was able to make it a lot lighter anyway. Both of these phones work with the same Android 11 OS.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with a way better display than Galaxy A42, because it has a greater pixel density, a bigger screen and a lot higher 1892 x 2688 resolution.
The Galaxy A42 shoots better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for taking photos or video in low light environments and worse video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Galaxy A42 also counts with a back camera with lot more mega pixels.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 counts with much more memory for games and applications than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 1000 GB. Galaxy A42 features a little longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity against 4449mAh.
