Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 is a little bit better than the Motorola Edge 20, with a score of 87 against 86.1. Despite being the best phone in this comparison review, the Galaxy A42 body is older, thicker and somewhat heavier than the Motorola Edge 20. These phones come with the same Android 11 OS (operating system).
Motorola Edge 20 counts with a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because it has a little bigger display, a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a higher number of pixels per inch of display. Motorola Edge 20 features a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Motorola Edge 20 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy A42 has a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games than Motorola Edge 20, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.
