Comparison review
Motorola Edge 20 Lite is slightly better than the Galaxy A42, with an 87.1 score against 87. Both phones in this comparison review come with the same Android 11 operating system, so both of them should offer very similar OS features. The Motorola Edge 20 Lite is a newer cellphone, and it is also just a little bit thinner and just a little bit lighter than the Galaxy A42.
The Motorola Edge 20 Lite's CPU is just as good as the Galaxy A42 one, and although the Motorola Edge 20 Lite has 4 GB more RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Motorola Edge 20 Lite counts with a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because it has a quite larger screen, more pixels per screen inch and a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2400.
Motorola Edge 20 Lite counts with a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low light images and video, and they both have the same video definition, the Motorola Edge 20 Lite also counts with higher 120 frames per second video frame rate and a camera in the back with lot more MP.
The Galaxy A42 counts with a little bit more storage capacity to install applications and games than Motorola Edge 20 Lite, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the Galaxy A42 also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 1000 GB. Motorola Edge 20 Lite has a battery life that's very similar to the battery life in Galaxy A42.
