Comparison review
The Motorola Edge 20 Pro has a general score of 92.8, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A42's general score of 87. The Motorola Edge 20 Pro construction is newer, just a little bit lighter and just a little thinner than the Samsung Galaxy A42. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Motorola Edge 20 Pro has the newer 12 version while Samsung Galaxy A42 has Android 11.
The Motorola Edge 20 Pro has a much better looking display than Galaxy A42, because it has a quite larger display, a much better resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a higher pixel count per display inch. The Motorola Edge 20 Pro features a bit superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Motorola Edge 20 Pro also has 8 GB more RAM memory.
The Galaxy A42 counts with more memory to install applications and games than Motorola Edge 20 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. The Motorola Edge 20 Pro features a much better camera than Galaxy A42, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for capturing images in low light environments, it also counts with a much better 7680x4320 video resolution and a much more MP back-facing camera.
Galaxy A42 has a little better battery duration than Motorola Edge 20 Pro, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
