The Motorola Edge 20 Pro has a much better looking display than Galaxy A42, because it has a quite larger display, a much better resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a higher pixel count per display inch. The Motorola Edge 20 Pro features a bit superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Motorola Edge 20 Pro also has 8 GB more RAM memory.
The Galaxy A42 counts with more memory to install applications and games than Motorola Edge 20 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. The Motorola Edge 20 Pro features a much better camera than Galaxy A42, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for capturing images in low light environments, it also counts with a much better 7680x4320 video resolution and a much more MP back-facing camera.
Galaxy A42 has a little better battery duration than Motorola Edge 20 Pro, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
