The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a score of 87, which is better than the Motorola Edge 40's 77.2 score. Both phones we are comparing work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A42 has an older 11 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version. The Samsung Galaxy A42 is a way older, somewhat heavier and thicker phone than Motorola Edge 40.
Galaxy A42 features a very superior performance than Motorola Edge 40, although it has 4 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Motorola Edge 40 has a lot better looking display than Galaxy A42, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher screen density and a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2400.
The Galaxy A42 features a way bigger memory to store more apps and games than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A42 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
