Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 is just a bit better than Moto G 5G, with an 87 score against 81.5. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A42 has a newer 11 version while Moto G 5G has Android 10 version. The Galaxy A42 construction is thinner and just a little lighter than the Moto G 5G, although both were released only 1 months apart.
Motorola Moto G 5G features a much better looking screen than Galaxy A42, because it has a better screen density, a much better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a bit larger display. Samsung Galaxy A42 has more storage capacity for games and applications than Motorola Moto G 5G, and although they both have a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
Motorola Moto G 5G features a CPU that is very similar to Galaxy A42's processing unit, they have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. Galaxy A42 features a slightly better camera than Moto G 5G, although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for taking pictures or video in low light environments, they both have a back camera with a 48 MP resolution, the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate.
Motorola Moto G 5G and Galaxy A42 feature incredibly similar batteries performance.
