Galaxy A42 has a general score of 87, which is a bit better than the Motorola Moto G60's 79.5 overall score. Even though Galaxy A42 and the Motorola Moto G60 were only released 6 months apart, Galaxy A42 is thinner and somewhat lighter. Both of these phones use the same Android 11 OS (Operating System), so both should provide the user identical OS features.

Moto G60 features a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because it has a higher pixels number in each inch in the display, a bit larger display and a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels.
