Samsung Galaxy A42 has a score of 87, which is much better than the Motorola Moto G8 Power's score of 76. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy A42 has a newer 11 version and Motorola Moto G8 Power has Android 10 version. The Samsung Galaxy A42 is a a little lighter and thinner phone than the Motorola Moto G8 Power, even when they were released with only a few months difference.

The Moto G8 Power features a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better 1080 x 2300px resolution and a greater screen pixels density. The Galaxy A42 counts with a much better memory to store more apps and games than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1000 GB and 128 GB internal memory.
