Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A42 has a general score of 87, which is slightly better than the Moto G9 Plus's global score of 80.5. Although Samsung Galaxy A42 and the Moto G9 Plus were only released with a few months difference, Samsung Galaxy A42 is somewhat thinner and lighter. Both phones we compare here have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy A42 has a more recent 11 version and Moto G9 Plus has Android 10, so it provides some extra features and performance optimizations.
The Moto G9 Plus's CPU is very similar to Galaxy A42's processor, both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. Moto G9 Plus features a more vivid screen than Galaxy A42, because it has a quite bigger screen, a lot better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a greater pixel quantity in each inch in the display.
Moto G9 Plus captures a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same aperture, the same video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Moto G9 Plus also has a much more mega-pixels camera. The Samsung Galaxy A42 counts with a slightly bigger storage for games and applications than Motorola Moto G9 Plus, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.
Motorola Moto G9 Plus's battery performance is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy A42 one.
