Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A42 is slightly better than the Nokia 8.3 5G, with an 87 score against 80.5. Both of these devices have the same Android 11 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding that. Samsung Galaxy A42 is a a little bit thinner and lighter cellphone than the Nokia 8.3 5G, even though both of them were released only a few months apart.
