Samsung Galaxy A42 is a little bit better than the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, getting an 87 score against 79.8. Both phones in our current comparison use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A42 has 11 version while OnePlus 7 Pro 5G has Android 10. The Samsung Galaxy A42 construction is newer, a bit thinner and just a bit lighter than OnePlus 7 Pro 5G.
OnePlus 7 Pro 5G features an incredibly better looking display than Galaxy A42, because it has much more pixels per inch in the screen, a much better 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution and a little bigger screen. Samsung Galaxy A42 counts with a bigger storage to install applications and games than OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB.
OnePlus 7 Pro 5G features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G also has a greater amount of RAM. OnePlus 7 Pro 5G captures just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a 48 mega pixels resolution back facing camera and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G also has faster 60 frames per second video frame rates and a larger aperture to capture better captures in low light environments.
Galaxy A42 has superior battery duration than OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh.
