The Samsung Galaxy A42 has an overall score of 87, which is a bit better than the Galaxy A31's 81.3 global score. The Samsung Galaxy A42 design has the same thickness than Galaxy A31, but it's just a little bit heavier. Both phones in this comparison come with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A42 has a newer 11 version while Galaxy A31 has Android 10, so it offers lots of additional features and some performance improvements.
