The Samsung Galaxy A42 is slightly better than the Galaxy A51, with a general score of 87 against 85.5. The Samsung Galaxy A42 design is newer, but somewhat heavier and a bit thicker than the Galaxy A51. Both of these phones use the same Android 11 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding OS features.
The Galaxy A51 features a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A42. Both have a 4 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processor.
