The Galaxy A42 has a score of 87, which is a bit better than Galaxy A9 (2018)'s overall score of 85.2. Galaxy A42 is a newer phone than the Galaxy A9 (2018), but it's a little bit thicker and a little heavier. Galaxy A9 (2018) counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy A9 (2018) also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
