Comparison review
Galaxy A42 has a score of 87, which is better than Samsung Galaxy J8's 76.7 global score. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A42 has a more recent 11 version while Samsung Galaxy J8 has Android 10 version, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks. The Galaxy A42 construction is noticeably newer, but a bit thicker and a little heavier than Samsung Galaxy J8.
Samsung Galaxy J8 features a screen that's very similar to Galaxy A42's display, because although the Samsung Galaxy J8 has a little smaller display and a little worse 720 x 1480 resolution, it also counts with a bit greater screen density. The Samsung Galaxy A42 counts with a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a SD card slot that admits up to 1000 GB.
Galaxy A42 features a little bit better processing power than Galaxy J8. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Galaxy A42 features a superior battery life than Galaxy J8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. The Galaxy A42 shoots better pictures and videos than Galaxy J8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs or videos in low light environments, it also counts with a much higher (4K) video definition and a way higher resolution camera in the back.
