Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a general score of 87, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy M12's 80 overall score. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy A42 has a newer 11 version while Samsung Galaxy M12 has Android 10 version, giving you a couple nice extra features. Even though the Samsung Galaxy A42 and the Samsung Galaxy M12 were only released 4 months apart, the Samsung Galaxy A42 is somewhat lighter and thinner.
The Galaxy A42 has a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy M12. Both have 8 CPU cores and the same RAM amount. Galaxy M12 counts with a screen that's just as good as the screen in Samsung Galaxy A42, because although the Galaxy M12 has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 720 x 1600 pixels resolution, it also counts with a just a little greater quantity of pixels per display inch.
