Comparison review
Galaxy A42 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy M30, having a global score of 87 against 82.4. Both of these devices use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A42 has an older 11 version and Samsung Galaxy M30 has Android 9.0 Pie. Galaxy A42's construction is newer, but a little thicker and a little heavier than the Samsung Galaxy M30.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 counts with a bit faster processor than Galaxy M30, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Samsung Galaxy M30 features a more vivid screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2280px and a greater amount of pixels per inch of display.
Galaxy A42 has a way better camera than Galaxy M30, because it has a bigger camera aperture, a much better 3840x2160 video resolution and a back facing camera with a lot better 48 mega pixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy A42 counts with a bit more memory for games and applications than Galaxy M30, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has an external SD slot that supports up to 1000 GB.
The Galaxy M30's battery performance is very similar to the Galaxy A42 one.
