Galaxy A42 has an overall score of 87, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Note 3's general score of 81.2. The Galaxy A42 design is extremely newer, but somewhat heavier and just a little thicker than Galaxy Note 3. Both of these devices have Android OS, but the Galaxy A42 has a more recent 11 version while Galaxy Note 3 has Android 5.0 version.
Galaxy Note 3 features a lot better looking screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per display inch and a higher resolution of 1920 x 1080. Galaxy A42 has a very superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1000 GB and 128 GB internal memory.
Galaxy Note 3 features just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster) and 1 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy A42 has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has a back facing camera with a lot higher 48 mega pixels resolution and a bigger camera aperture to take better low-light images and video.
The Galaxy A42 counts with a much longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
