Comparison review

The Galaxy S10 has a general score of 88.3, which is slightly better than the Galaxy A42's global score of 87. These phones come with the same Android 11 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect. Galaxy S10 is an older cellphone than Galaxy A42, but Samsung managed to make it just a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter.

Galaxy S10 counts with a bit better processing power than Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy S10 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Galaxy S10 features an incredibly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way greater number of pixels per inch of display and a lot better resolution of 1440 x 3040px.

The Samsung Galaxy A42 counts with just a bit bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S10, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has an external SD slot that admits up to 1000 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a way better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S10, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3400mAh.

Galaxy A42 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy S10, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for capturing photographs and/or video in low light situations and slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same video resolution, the Galaxy A42 also counts with a way more mega pixels camera.
